We love Colorado Springs and we love our local businesses. We love to highlight and visit locally owned shops and restaurants to bring you the Best of Colorado Springs! We try to visit local businesses each month to bring you a first hand look at our local community! Here are our October favorites:

Beast and Brews Colorado Springs

Beast and Brews is located at 7 Spectrum Loop Suite 140. Beast and Brews is one of my favorite restaurants in the Springs. I might say that quite a bit. Maybe I like food quite a bit:) We visited the restaurant for a family birthday dinner back in February 2020. I still think about the steak I had…it was wonderful. A few features of Beast and Brews:  a) Over100 taps! Beasts & Brews features a scratch menu focused on locally sourced ingredients. They use high quality ingredients, price it fair and serve it up in a fun atmosphere. b) They are largest self pour taphouse in Colorado. We feature local beer, wine, bourbon, gin, kombucha, coffee and more! c) Try their Thursday Night Football To-Go Pack!!!

Sparkles and Lace Boutique Colorado Springs

We love Sparkles and Lace! It is an amazing local clothing store with the latest fashions! Colorado Springs does not have the largest selection of shopping options, and  Sparkles and Lace helps fill this void! A little about the boutique: Sparkles & Lace was started by two best friends. Stephanie and Lisa. They offer women’s clothing in sizes small through curvy. Their mission is to empower women to look good, feel good and take on her day with confidence. One of our favorite collection is their Hero Collection. Stephanie’s husband is proudly serving in the US Air Force and Lisa’s husband is a firefighter for the Colorado Springs Fire Department. They designed the collection to honor local hero’s! The boutique can be found at: 2140 Garden of the Gods. Make sure to also follow them on Facebook and their Facebook VIP group page!
